Daniel Gray, Vice President of Consumer Sales, EMEA & PACRIM
Daniel joined Datasat with extensive knowledge of dealing with all types of consumers - from Blue-Chip companies to high-end personalities to the general public. Today, Daniel serves as the Vice President of Consumer Sales, EMEA & PACRIM for Datasat Digital Entertainment with a focus on the high-end home theater market. Prior to joining the team, he was a Director at NDG Motor Company where he dealt with sales and purchasing, as well as the day-to-day running of the business. During his time at NDG, Daniel worked with major car brands including BMW, Mercedes and Aston Martin. In addition to cars, Daniel also sourced other lifestyle items for his clients.

Daniel Schulz, Vice President of Studio Services
Daniel oversees the licensing of Datasat Digital Sound and related technologies. Daniel has been with Datasat (and its previous incarnations under DTS) since 2000. Daniel earned a Bachelor of Arts from Indiana University with a double major in Mathematics and History.
He is an avid filmgoer and loves both the poetry and technology of motion pictures. He is a member of the Society of Motion Picture & Television Engineers, the Audio Engineering Society and the Southern California Miata Club.

Dusty Thomas, Vice President of Sales, North & South America
Dusty joined the Datasat team with a solid history of Sales and Marketing with technology development manufacturers. Previously responsible for US-based resell channels, Dusty now leads the sales efforts of professional cinema products in North and South America.
During his 10 year career, he has been directly responsible for the marketing programs and product launch of numerous technologies ranging from Digital Cinema servers to LED lighting assemblies. His knowledge of product marketing and sales allows for products to move quickly to market with force.
With the continued growth of Datasat in cinema, Dusty has progressed from handling the US reseller channel to now managing North and South America cinema product sales. Mario started working at the company in the IT and Facilities department of the cinema division of DTS in 2000. Mario is now responsible for sales in Latin America.

Randhir Verma, Vice President of Sales, EMEA
Randhir Verma brings 17 years' experience in satellite television, audio visual and electronic components markets with an in-depth knowledge in LED technology, audio technology and contract manufacturing directly working with CEM and OEM companies. Randhir has previously worked as an audio consultant specialising in sales and high-end installation work, via referral from companies such as Panasonic, Sony and JBL, in both the commercial and consumer sectors. This work involved the setup of home theatres and audio installations in wine bars and nightclubs from initial quote to installation stages.
Randhir has also gained a wealth of knowledge working for the third biggest electronic components distributor which involved the ability to effectively communicate either on an individual level or as part of an internal/external partnership in order to negotiate with companies to achieve the opportunity to quote and close on business.
This knowledge and experience, combined with a keen interest in audio and electronics, and a love of the film industry; led Randhir to successfully complete a BSc in Multimedia Computing with Sound and Music Recording; learning the art of script writing, directing, studio techniques, editing, sound production, mixing and mastering. With Randhir’s skill set, interests and qualifications; a career at Datasat was an excellent fit!

Steve Evanitsky, Vice President of Sales, Pacific Rim
Steve picked up his first 8mm film camera when he was seven years old and has always been involved in the entertainment industry since then - whether it be working behind a camera, on a set, in a theatre, for a motion picture studio, or today with Datasat as the Vice President of Sales, Pacific Rim.
Prior to joining Datasat Digital Entertainment, Steve worked for General Cinema, owned and operated his own painting and remodeling business, was a PA on Old School for DreamWorks SKG, and worked in multiple departments at New Line Cinema eventually finding a home in Distribution where he became the head film booker for the western division. In addition to his industry experience, Steve served as a firefighter for Bushnell’s Basin Fire Department in New York for more than nine years.

David Eyre, Senior Software Engineer
David has been with Datasat Digital Entertainment, and previously with DTS, since 2006, developing software for various products, including the AP20 and RS20i audio processors. David has 30 years experience in software and hardware development. David has earned a BSc.Eng (Hons) degree in Electronic Engineering and Computer Science from University College London, and has held positions in software and hardware engineering with companies in the field of Audio/Video, computer networking/communications and wireless networking
David Kersetter, Senior Hardware Design Engineer
David has been with Datasat since 2004 when the Cinema Division was DTS. David has worked in audio related positions for nearly 40 years and has created hardware and, at times, software for new products. David was one of the three people who started what became Theta Digital in 1987 and was with them until 2004. There David did most of the hardware/circuitry design and also some software development.
Francisco Pflaum, Director, R & D, Engineering
Francisco has been leading the development of audio and video products for Datasat Digital Entertainment, and previously DTS, Inc. Cinema Division since 1999. Francisco has developed a wide range of products including audio processors for film and digital cinema, digital soundtrack playback, cinema preshow video and captioning. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Bradley University. In 1989 he worked with Nuoptix to develop software for the soundtrack playback system that launched DTS. Previously he worked in the development of hardware and software products for companies including Apogee Electronics and Belkin Components.
Joe Klebanoff, Director Test Engineering / Quality Control
Joe has been with the company since 1993, just prior to the Jurassic Park release and brings over 30 years of electrical engineering and audio experience. Joe’s background comes out of the Recording and Film industries with design and service. He worked for some of the top studios in Los Angeles in both Motion Picture and Recording. Joe has developed his own products in the past that were used in Recording and Film applications. Joe is an integral part of the manufacturing and product development process and is responsible for designing the production test fixtures, automated test procedures, product QC, failure analysis, as well as the interface between Datasat and our OEM manufacturers.
Lisa Brown, Engineering Services Manager
Lisa has been with Datasat Digital Entertainment since its inception in 1993 as DTS, Inc. She has over 30 years of experience in engineering and production management. She was brought in to DTS to bring their prototype designs to production readiness and to set up procedures for the Engineering group. Prior to working at Datasat Digital Entertainment, Lisa worked for manufacturers of broadcast/television equipment, computer peripherals and mobile phones. She served these in various roles, including: Production Manager, Senior Manufacturing Engineer, Special Projects Manager, Document Control Manager and Mechanical Designer.
Stephen Field, Senior Vice President, Global Programs and Products
Stephen has worked in the cinema industry for over 30 years and joined Datasat Digital Entertainment seven years ago. He has vast experience on the exhibition side of the business having worked in cinemas and for a hardware installation and servicing company. He also previously worked for The Walt Disney Company as Senior Manager of Technology and Engineering Services for Studio Operations. In this role Stephen was responsible for various aspects of the European technical portfolio. Including audio visual requirements, satellite/cable head ends for ABC, ESPN and The Disney Channel, Digital Cinema, and TV over IP. While at Disney Stephen also project managed the European and Far East field trials for the Disney Digital Cinema pilot program for Toy Story 2 and the world’s first large scale TV over IP solution that allowed 200 broadcast quality TV and audio channels to be streamed via IP to users’ desktops anywhere in the world. Since joining the company, Stephen has been responsible for cinema and consumer hardware products and software projects.
